You Need a Website Yesterday. The Solution: The 3 Day Squarespace Website

If you have a new small business, chances are you’ve been bombarded with expenses, and your website is getting pushed down the list of priorities.

You may have invested in equipment, paid for your business license, and even signed a lease on an office or retail space (including deposit).  Going into business for yourself isn’t for the faint of heart, but you have the hope that in the end, all of these expenses on the front end will pay for themselves over time.

So, once you have the basics in place and are ready to serve the public, do you have a plan for attracting those potential customers?

Odds are, you know you need a website, but adding another significant expense to your credit card seems daunting. And, you could probably do it yourself, but that’s a lot to learn, so you’ve been putting it off.

What if you could have a new website in just 3 days for only $1,000?

Sounds like a scam, right?  I know it sounds crazy, like you’ll end up with a crappy website and another bill to pay.  But, keep reading, and I promise it’ll grow on you…

Squarespace is generally known as a DIY platform, and while it is pretty simple to learn, it’s still a learning process.  Taking the time to figure it out on your own would take a lot longer than someone else just telling you how to do it. And, it would be a lot faster if you had a head start.

I’m here to help!

With the 3-Day Website, I will create a fully functioning live Squarespace website for you.

The only catch? You’re going to do a little work, too. But, bear with me here…

If you work with a designer to create a fully custom website, not only will you be spending significantly more, but you’ll be required to provide all of your content up front.  Your content includes everything you want written on all of your pages - all of the text for your home page, the description of your services, your full about page, and so on. It also includes all the photos you want on your website, which take time to find.

Most website designers won’t begin designing your site until you have all of this together for them (Including me, if we do the 2-Week Website).  But, you’re busy and on a budget, and you need a website ASAP. You can’t put your business on hold to sit down and write all of this at once. You’re trying to gain momentum here, not looking to stop it.

I’m not asking you for any of that for your 3-Day Squarespace Website.

The great thing about this option is that you have the freedom to add the details to your site as you have time, but you have a beautiful, professional website in place until you do.

Here’s how it works:

  • You start by booking a free consultation call with me, so we can talk and make sure this option is a good fit for you.  This is ideal if:

    • You don’t have a website

    • You need a website ASAP

    • You don’t have a budget for a complex custom website

    • You want a great website you can easily manage yourself

  • We agree on a start date and put you down on the calendar.  Payment of 50% is due at this time.

  • I send you a brief questionnaire so I have an idea of what you need and want in your website.

  • On the start date, I begin designing your website.  On the third day, I’ll reveal the site to you, and you can request up to two revisions.

  • You make payment of the final 50% and I turn the site over to you.

  • Finally, I’ll send you a full guide on how to manage your site, including step-by-step PDFs and videos.  These will include instructions on how to add text, images, blog posts, and more.

Sound good so far?

This option really requires little from you up front. If you have any content already prepared, either text or images, I can include it.  Otherwise, I’ll design the site based on the answers you provide on the questionnaire, adding appropriate images and basic information about your business.

Here’s exactly what you’re getting for the price:

  • A Home Page with image and introduction to your business.

  • An About Page, including your picture, if you have one, and a brief bio.

  • A Contact Page, including a contact form so that potential customers can request more information until you have the time to add all of the details to your website.

  • A Blog Page ready for you to add blog posts.

  • A Services (or Products) Page with brief description of the services you provide (or products you sell), and a promise of “more information coming soon”

    • The services page is usually the one that takes the most time to craft for business owners.  At minimum, if you say that you “bake custom cakes, cupcakes, and cookies” and “click below to request more details””, for example, at least people know what you do.

  • Up to 3 more specialty pages, if needed.

  • A custom header and footer.

  • Each page includes banner image and custom placeholder content (no random Latin)

  • Optimization for basic SEO, including full page descriptions, image names, proper image sizes, etc.

  • A complete guide to the basic functions of Squarespace so you can add content and make changes in your own time.

So, what have you got to lose?

You may have heard the saying that “done is better than perfect”, meaning that if you wait until every little piece is in place exactly the way you want it, you’re going to be waiting a while.

Not only that, if you keep putting off your website while waiting for perfection, you’re going to be missing out on reaching potential customers.

You may dream of someday having someone design a completely custom website from top to bottom for you, with all sorts of complex functions.  But today, you need to put yourself out there.

With a 3-Day Squarespace Website, you can have the best of both worlds - a great website, and the ability to reach more customers now.

Book your free consultation below so we can talk more about your 3-Day Website. I can’t wait to get you started!
